Drew Meets Lightning

In the forefront of the photo is our grandson Drew. He’s running from Lightning McQueen, the very car he and his family visited Cars Land at Disney to see.

Isn’t that the way it is? We meet the desire of our hearts face to face and take off running. Why? Who knows? Drew began to run when Lightning McQueen revved his engine. But you see that Drew has a smile on his face and all in his support group in the background (mommy, daddy, brother and auntie) are laughing. They won’t let him get too far and eventually he and the car may become true friends. But the impulse to run strikes me as funny, because I know of what we’re apt to do when we fall in love and in our gut realize we’re already in over our heads.
