Gingerbread House

We can't go back home to PA without having eaten some kind of homemade pastry from this quaint establishment.  Some of our girths owe some of themselves to what we've eaten here over the years.  Pictured are Tim and Drew (top), Lucy, Lily and Maddie (middle) and Drew, Tim and Lucy (bottom).  I couldn't get a better picture of the whole building because the sun was in the absolute wrong place.  But I'm sure you get the idea of someone's imagined Hansel and Gretle candy house from a story parents tell their children only when they want to be wakened by the nightmares that will surely follow.  The only nice thing about that story, really, is the house, but it's all ruined by the kid-eating witch who lives within.  There's no witch in this gingerbread house--only nice people and good food.

In case you're wondering about the middle picture, I'm not really sure what's going on.  It kind of looks like the girls are trying to position themselves towards Mecca, but I can assure they are not.  They're looking at something between the cracks in the boards of the deck and enjoyed doing that very much.

In the bottom picture you see Tim trying to keep Drew from flying away.

It can't be Mecca - they're all facing a different direction :) I'm sure they are just up for a delightfully spontaneous curious adventure of the day.
